Net Sales up by 23.1% Y-o-Y, Order book crosses Rs. 10,000 crore

Mumbai, January 30, 2013: KEC International Ltd. (KEC), a global infrastructure EPC major, an RPG Group company, today announced its unaudited consolidated results for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.

 

Net Sales, for the quarter stands at Rs. 1,797 crore as against Rs. 1,460 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, an increase of 23.1% Y-o-Y.

 

EBITDA, for the quarter stands at Rs. 103 crore as against Rs. 113 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

 

Profit after Tax (PAT) , for the quarter stands at Rs. 29 crore as against Rs. 37 crore (excluding Rs. 43 crore gain from land sale) in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

 

The Order Book continues to remain robust and currently stands at Rs. 10,150 crore as against Rs. 9,200 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, an increase of 10.3% Y-o-Y.

 

Mr. Ramesh Chandak, MD & CEO of the company commented "We are happy to report that our order book has crossed the Rs. 10,000 crore mark. Our strong geographical and business spread has helped us in continuously delivering strong top-line growth. Our order intake between Apr-Dec 2012 at Rs. 5,780 crore is higher by 31.6% as compared to the same period during the previous year".
